Deviation Actions
As per post title, I'm not dead - just struggling my way into settling down comfortably in ever-busy London... with mixed results up to now, but time will tell. I'm so sorry for neglecting my dA so badly in the in the last months... but it really feels like I could use 72-hour days just to begin coping with everything I have to do. Not going into real detail here, I've set up a wordpress blog (nihilistant.wordpress.com) to throw in the random update, so if you really die to know what I'm up to, check it out. Next week I'll be moving in to my new pad, I so wish I'll be able to spare some time for good ole Apo madness then.
Needless to say, if there are any deviants out there who also live in London and want to pop up for a pint and a chat, just let me know, mk?

Back from the dead
Ok, seems like I might be back. I've finally found some stability, some spare time, some inspiration, a reliable broadband... and most importantly a release of Apophysis 7X that runs on my machine without a glitch! Older releases have been a nightmare of crashes and deadlocks (no fault of their own, it's my pc that's a piece of junk) and being stuck with the old (also fairly unstable) 2.09 and 3D Hack felt more and more like running the Paris-Dakar on a pogo stick.
I reckon I'll be hanging around the Aposhack a lot and tweak like there's no tomorrow for the time being, at least until I've caught up with the hundreds of new plugins and techni
Devious Journal Entry
Leaving this as a permament note to all my friends, visitors and stalkers: I am NOT dead. Billions thanks and zillions apologies for all the unreplied/unreturned/unrequited messages, faves and devWatches... guess nobody needs to hear me moan once again about not having enough time and so on. Worse still, just to think of how much good stuff I'm missing out on... That said, I'll keep coming back every so often, if not as addictively as I used to. I'm getting more and more into photography lately, but I'll also do my best to throw in the odd piece of fractal eye-ache whenever I can. And of course I'll be watching you all.
Peace, and thanks aga
New Job Soon?
Six weeks since the last post, during which I haven't been up to much honestly aside from the usual bustle of London life.
Taken lots of pictures, spent probably more than was advisable on pints and food, and managed not to attend the dA London Meeting while still being in a quarter of a mile radius from the meeting itself :P
In major news, after a few (utterly frustrating) months during which entry level scientific jobs seemed to have been credit-crunched into ending up like the Dodo, I've suddenly found myself with THREE open positions as Editorial Assistant at scientific publishing houses in London - i.e., the entry level gateway to my d
Spring moods
Spring time in London is nothing short of amazing. Or perhaps I've just stumbled upon some impredictable, lucky combination of good weather and high moods on what is - incidentally - my first spring ever in this place. Either way, everything seems to be blooming or buzzing with life and the odd blend of smells the breeze carries along - flowers & spices & tobacco & exhaust & stuff - is enough to keep me high and intoxicated 24/7.
If this whole pig flu thing is actually going to be as bad as the media are selling it, i just can not think of a better time and place to face Armageddon with a defiant sneer.
(Yes, it's Friday night and I'm fair
