An exploration into the dark side of Julians. Apophysis 3D, + PSP7 for framing and signature. The starting seed was created following ~Meckie's Simple 3D Julian tutorial [link] (check it out, it's wonderfully well done btw). Full view recommended. *Some metalheads out there will recognize this quote, maybe  Edit: oh my god! It's been so amazing to log on for a hit-and-run check and find out I'd received my first DD - I was literally lost for words! I wish to give you all a real massive THANK YOU for all the faves, and as many hugs as you can reasonably take... Being in a bit of a hurry I can't start replying to your comments right now as I'd most wish to do, but I'll see to that by tomorrow... Daily DeviationGiven 2008-02-23Necropolis by *NilNilNil means... ancient burial ground and with the artist's description of the lyrical quote: "a horrible dystopian future where mankind is forced to live sheltering underground", WOW does this elicit strange imaginings! It has such a dark feeling of solitude. I couldn't take my eyes off it. The depth, texture and darkly ominous coloring put me into a reflective, stunned silence. It is an absolute MUST FULL VIEW piece of artwork! ~ This artist has many truly amazing fractals in his gallery. Take the time to look through it! We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
